Simon Urgilez

MANAGING DIRECTOR

I have over 20 years’ experience in information technology, working on large projects and delivering enterprise solutions involving server technology and firewalls, for companies in the UK, Spain, South America, and USA.

Technology focus: Networking (local, hybrid and cloud), security, firewalls, intrusion detection, Microsoft Windows Server all versions, Microsoft Exchange all versions, virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware), cloud solutions (Windows Azure, Intune), SharePoint, Microsoft 365, MS SQL.

John Farr

SENIOR IT CONSULTANT

I am an experienced information technology consultant with a long history working in the computer industry. I am also a qualified project management professional with extensive experience as a technology change manager.

Technology focus: Cloud transition management using Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Andrew Elder

SENIOR IT CONSULTANT AND DEVELOPER

I architect, develop and implement cost effective and robust management information and business intelligence systems, which deliver scalable and secure data storage; and analytical, transfer and front-end solutions for clients.

Technology focus: Dot Net, MS Excel, MS Access

Microsoft SQL developer and data warehouse architect

I am an experienced SQL server developer / architect and have specialised in data warehousing and business intelligence technologies over the last 15 years. I have worked on projects large and small and in a variety of business sectors, and particularly in the Lloyds London market insurance sector.

Technology focus: Business Intelligence, BI, Data Warehousing, SQL Server, Power BI, SSAS, OLAP, MDX, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, DTS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, C#, Web Development, Active Directory.

Handling a wide range of administrative, technical, and executive-support tasks, I draw on my 20+ years’ experience to help build and serve Urgiz’s relationships with its customers.

I’m working with the team to develop the Urgiz brand, produce consistent marketing communications, and develop clients and leads to take the business forward. I have considerable experience in B2B marketing communications for IT organisations, including websites, collaterals and content creation.
